About Apex Tools Hub

Apex Tools Hub is a collection of 164 small, focused web tools — image converters, calculators, developer helpers, and text utilities — that each do one job and do it well. There is no account to create, no software to install, and no daily usage cap. You open a tool, use it, and close the tab.

How our tools work

The vast majority of our tools run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you resize an image, format a block of JSON, or count the words in a document, that work happens on your own device. The file or text you provide is not sent to a server, because there is no server-side processing step for it to travel to. This is why most tools keep working even if your connection drops after the page has loaded, and it is the single biggest reason the site feels fast.

A handful of tasks are genuinely impossible to do client-side — but where a browser API exists to keep your data local, we use it. When a tool does need to reach out to a third party, we say so on that tool's page rather than burying it here.

Why we built it

Most "free online tool" sites bury a thirty-second task under pop-ups, forced sign-ups, and walls of near-identical text written for search engines rather than people. We wanted the opposite: a clean page, a tool that works immediately, and a short, plain-English explanation of what it does and when you'd reach for it. Every tool page is written by hand for that specific tool — we don't spin one description into a hundred.

Privacy first, by design

Because processing happens locally, we don't see the contents of your files or the numbers you type into a calculator. We do use privacy-respecting analytics and display ads to keep the site free; exactly what that involves — and what you can control — is spelled out in our Privacy Policy.

Missing something you'd use often? We add tools based on what people actually ask for. Tell us via the contact page — a clear description of the job you're trying to get done is more useful to us than a feature spec.
