AdSense RPM Calculator
Work out revenue per thousand pageviews from your earnings and views.
RPM stands for revenue per mille, the estimated earnings for every 1,000 pageviews. Enter your earnings and your total pageviews, and this tool returns the page RPM with a colour cue for the level. It is an unofficial calculator, not affiliated with Google or AdSense, and it runs entirely in your browser.
The formula
RPM scales your earnings up to a per-thousand-views figure:
RPM = (earnings ÷ pageviews) × 1,000
For example, 50 in earnings across 10,000 pageviews is (50 ÷ 10,000) × 1,000 = 5.00 RPM. Note this is not extra money on top of your earnings; it simply restates the same total on a per-1,000-views basis so pages and periods of different sizes can be compared fairly.
Reading the colour cue
The result changes colour as a rough gauge: above 25 shows green, between 5 and 25 uses the default accent, and below 5 turns amber. RPM swings widely with topic, audience location, season, and ad placement, so these bands are only a quick hint. Your own trend over time tells you far more than any single benchmark.
Earnings are your own estimates
The earnings and pageviews you type are figures you supply, so the RPM reflects results you already have rather than a forecast of future income. For a like-for-like number, take earnings and pageviews from the same report and the same date range. Because RPM is built from a period you have finished, it describes what happened, not what will happen next.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this an official Google or AdSense tool?
No. It is an unofficial calculator with no affiliation to Google. It applies the standard RPM formula to numbers you enter.
What is the difference between RPM and CPM?
RPM is revenue per 1,000 pageviews for the publisher, while CPM is what an advertiser pays per 1,000 impressions. This tool works out page RPM from your own earnings.
Does a higher RPM mean more total money?
Not by itself. RPM restates existing earnings per 1,000 views; total income also depends on how many views you get.
Does this calculator store my data?
No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded or saved.
