Bio Generator

Drop your occupation into a ready-made bio in one of three styles.

Pick a style, type your occupation or identity, and this tool builds a short profile bio by dropping your role into a ready-made template. It is aimed at the one-line "about" fields on social and messaging profiles, where you want something tidy quickly. There are three styles to choose from and several phrasings behind each, so you can regenerate until one fits. Everything happens in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.

Three styles

The Style menu offers three tones, each with five templates. Minimalist gives short, understated lines (for example "Just a {occ} living life"). Professional — the default — gives confident, work-focused lines such as "Expert {occ} with a passion for excellence". Creative / Emoji wraps the line in emoji for a more playful profile. Switching style and pressing Generate again swaps in a phrasing from that style's set.

How it fills in your role

Type your occupation or identity — something short like "UX Designer" or "UX Designer / Wanderer" — into the field, and the tool inserts it into a randomly chosen template from the selected style. If you leave the field blank, it falls back to the word Creator. Press Generate Bio again to cycle to another template; because each pick is random with no memory of the last, you may occasionally see the same line twice. The copy button places the result on your clipboard.

Make it yours

These are fixed templates, not text written about you specifically, so use the result as a starting phrase and personalise it — add a location, a specialism or a link once you have pasted it. Your text is inserted verbatim in place of the role, so a short identity reads far better than a full sentence. Keep an eye on length too: the tool does not enforce any limit, and profile fields vary (roughly 150 characters on Instagram, around 160 on X).

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the three styles?

Minimalist gives short, understated lines; Professional (the default) gives confident, work-focused lines; Creative / Emoji wraps the line in emoji. Each style has five templates to draw from.

What happens if I leave the occupation blank?

It falls back to the word "Creator". For a better result, type a short identity such as "UX Designer", which is inserted directly into the chosen template.

Why do I sometimes get the same bio twice?

Each Generate picks one of the five templates at random for that style, with no memory of the previous pick, so occasional repeats are normal. Press the button again for a different one.

Will the bio fit my profile's character limit?

The tool does not check limits, and platforms differ — Instagram allows about 150 characters and X about 160. Check the length before saving. Everything runs in your browser.
