Describe your photo or post and this tool turns it into a block of hashtags you can trim and copy. It takes the meaningful words from your description, formats each as a #hashtag, and adds a handful of generic discovery tags, then lets you toggle any of them off before copying. It runs entirely in your browser and does not connect to any social network, so treat it as a fast way to draft a hashtag set rather than a source of live trends.

How it builds the list

From the caption you type, the tool lowercases the text, removes punctuation, and keeps only words longer than three letters — so "at" and "the" are dropped while "sunset" or "friends" become #sunset and #friends. It then appends a fixed built-in set of seven generic discovery tags such as #explore, #trending, #viral and #fyp, removes any duplicates, and shows the combined set as clickable pills. The more descriptive your caption, the more relevant word-based tags you get.

Selecting and copying

Every suggested tag starts selected. Click any pill to toggle it off, and click again to bring it back — the counter reads "N Tags Selected" so you can see the running total. When you are happy with the set, Copy Selected copies just the chosen tags as a single space-separated line, ready to paste into a caption or comment. Because deselecting is one click, it is quick to keep the two or three word-tags that actually fit and drop the generic ones.

What it is, and what it is not

This does not pull real-time trending hashtags or check how popular a tag is — the "trending" pills are a fixed list, and the rest are simply your own words reformatted. That makes it a useful drafting aid, but you should still curate: swap in specific niche tags for your topic and mind each platform's limits (Instagram, for example, caps a post at 30 hashtags). Nothing you type is uploaded; the whole process happens on your device.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it use real-time trending hashtags?

No. It reformats the words from your description that are longer than three letters and appends a fixed set of seven generic discovery tags. It does not connect to any platform or fetch live trend data.

Why are some of my words missing from the tags?

Only words longer than three letters become tags, so short words like "at", "the" and "you" are skipped, and punctuation is stripped out first. Letters and numbers are kept.

How do I choose which hashtags to keep?

Every suggested tag starts selected. Click a pill to toggle it off or back on; the counter shows how many are selected, and Copy Selected copies only those, separated by spaces.

Is there a limit on how many hashtags I should use?

The tool does not cap them, but platforms do — Instagram allows up to 30 per post, for instance. Trim the block to the most relevant tags. Everything runs in your browser.
