Fake User Persona Generator
Create a random fake user profile for mock-ups and test data.
This generator invents a single fake user profile — a full name, email address, location, company and an initials avatar — for filling out mock-ups, testing forms and populating a design with realistic-looking data. Press Generate Persona to roll a new one, or Copy Data to grab the details as labelled lines. Everything is assembled in your browser from built-in lists, and no persona is saved once you leave the page.
What each persona contains
Every persona pulls a first and last name from fixed lists, then derives the rest from them: the email is built as first.last@domain using one of five domains (including gmail.com, outlook.com and icloud.com), the avatar shows the person's two initials, and a location and company are each picked from a set list — ten cities and eight company names. Only one persona is shown at a time, and generating again replaces every field at once rather than adding to a list.
Copying the details
Copy Data places four labelled lines on your clipboard — Name, Email, Location and Company — ready to paste into a spreadsheet, a test form or a ticket. It is a quick way to seed a database seed script or a design file with something that reads like a real record instead of "test test test". The initials avatar is display-only and is not included in the copied text.
Fictional data — one important caveat
These profiles are invented, but the email addresses deserve care. Because a common first.last combination is attached to a real mail domain such as gmail.com, a generated address could by coincidence match a mailbox that genuinely exists. Treat every persona as fictional placeholder data only: do not send email to these addresses, and do not assume any of them is a valid or verified account.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are the generated email addresses real?
They are fabricated as first.last@domain. But because some of the domains are real (gmail.com, outlook.com, icloud.com), an address could coincidentally belong to a real person, so never send mail to one.
How many personas can I create at once?
One at a time. Each press of Generate Persona replaces the current card entirely — there is no multi-record list or export.
What fields does a persona include?
A full name, an email, a location chosen from ten cities, a company chosen from eight, and a two-letter initials avatar. Copy Data copies the first four as labelled lines.
Can I use this for test data?
Yes — that is what it is for: seeding forms, mock-ups and sample databases. Nothing is stored or transmitted, so refreshing the page loses the current persona for good.
